Student Council

Student Council is an opportunity for Middle School students to participate in student government and leadership opportunities through active service to the school.  Student Council offers nine elected positions.  Officers raise money through monthly bake sales, two school dances and Valentine’s Day candy grams.  Money earned is returned to the school in the form of classroom sports equipment, honoring our Veterans, Sport Rallies and staff appreciation.  Student Council organizes school recycling, assemblies, Spirit Week and Cancer Awareness Month.  Student Council represents St. Joseph’s Catholic School students to visitors and for serving or reading at special functions when requested. Student Council meets weekly for planning, goal setting and action purposes.

"I love St. Joseph’s Catholic School and more importantly our children love it!ᅠ Like any parents, our main concern is that our children flourish both intellectually and emotionally.ᅠ Since our children have attended SJS we have seen continued progress in both areas.ᅠ It is very reassuring to know that our children are getting an education that is second to none, but it is almost more satisfying to know that they are also helping our children become the best people that they can be."
